Things People Say:
Dear JB Jazz and Blues,
I feel compelled to write to you after seeing you perform at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival last Monday 4th May. I found your email address on your website. Your set in the Jazz Arena on Monday was the absolute highlight of the festival for me; in fact it made what had been up until that point a rather disappointing weekend into a memorable event.
All 5 of you were so incredibly talented and your music so very uplifting. I especially enjoyed your guitarist's version of 'I'm In The Mood For Love'; one of my favourite songs, and what a beautiful voice he has. I had walked into the Jazz Arena feeling disillusioned and somewhat downhearted, but when you started to play, I remembered why I love jazz again.

Hi Guys!
It was great to see you at the UJF. And it's easy to see why you were Stafford's Band of the Year again - apart from the superior musicianship, you all sing really, really well................ and amazingly, there are no weak links!!!  Plus, I like the band's chemistry as well as audience interraction; love the shoes, love the hat (Roger), love everything!!  However, what I find most charming is the modesty of you gentlemen (and no, I'm not being sarcastic, lol!).  In other words, you guys are a real pleasure to watch, so thanks for the entertainment :).

Dear John and Roger
Thank you so much for your note - it prompted me to come in to hear you on my way north for a few days!  What a fantastic and exciting performance - although having heard you many times, never in that way before.  Why were there not thousands!! The interpretation of familiar numbers was unique and brilliant, particularly Gigolo!  I loved the presentation - hat, suits, lighting and tremendous verve.  As ever - uplifting and cheering.
There is something magical about jazz events - out of the cold and rain, parking car, etc. into the darkened tent then 'stardust' - escape to another world for a while!
Congratulations and best wishes to you all
Paula
